Tafe Tractors
Background
As one of the world’s largest manufacturers of tractors and agricultural equipment, TAFE Tractors recognised the need for a digital presence that would truly reflect the strength and scale of its operations. With expansion into international markets underway, TAFE required a digital ecosystem that would help shape its global narrative, connect meaningfully with diverse audiences, and support business growth at scale.
This marked the beginning of a strategic digital transformation journey — one that was undertaken in close collaboration with KRDS as TAFE’s digital transformation partner.
The Challenge
TAFE sought more than just a new website. The ambition was to create a platform that would serve as a digital gateway to international audiences — modern in design, high in performance, multilingual, and scalable. The previous site architecture and performance needed a significant overhaul to meet the expectations of a global brand. In addition, ease of content management was critical, with teams across geographies needing the autonomy to manage and update localised information.
Our Approach
KRDS partnered with TAFE to build a best-in-class digital platform that combined thoughtful design with powerful performance.
The first step involved reimagining the design language. We developed a clean, modern, and intuitive interface that resonated with international aesthetics while retaining the brand’s agricultural heritage. This was not just a facelift, but a complete design rationale aligned to TAFE’s global ambitions.
From a technology standpoint, the platform was built using Next.js — a high-performance, scalable framework known for fast rendering, internationalization capabilities, and robust performance under traffic. Multilingual support was woven into the very fabric of the website, allowing TAFE to cater to regional audiences with ease.
On the backend, we implemented a highly flexible, modular CMS that empowered internal teams to publish content quickly and accurately. Whether it was product information, localization of regional pages, or campaign-driven updates, the CMS offered the agility TAFE needed.
Finally, we conducted rigorous performance optimisation and testing to ensure fast load times, smooth user journeys, and compatibility across all major devices and networks.
The Outcome
The newly launched TAFE Tractors website not only achieved its initial objectives but exceeded them on several fronts:
- It transformed the brand’s digital identity to match its international stature.
- The performance improvements drastically reduced load times and bounce rates.
- The CMS implementation enabled local teams to maintain content independently, cutting turnaround time for updates.
- The scalable infrastructure laid a strong foundation for further international rollouts.
More importantly, the digital presence now mirrors the innovation, reliability, and leadership that TAFE brings to the global agricultural industry — positioning the brand as a truly world-class player.
